Indian students are required to show that they have achieved minimum English scores in one of the following English language tests and meet the requirements for test results specified in the NMBA English language skills registration standard to get admission at Deakin: 

  • IELTS score of 7.0 is mandatory 

  • OET minimum score of in each of the four bands 

  • PTE Academic minimum score of 66

For most courses at NCI students are required to submit an IELTS score of 6.0-6.5 overall with no less than 5.5-6.0 in any other band. Students can also submit the following tests:

  • DET- 105-120+
  • TOEFL iBT- 60-79 overall with no component less than 12-15
  • PTE Academic- 50-58 overall with no component less than 40-48

  • TOEFL iBT- 80
  • SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW)- 560
  • ACT English-  21
  • IELTS Academic- 6.0

Yes, students proficient in Japanese are allowed to take classes in Japenese. The Center for Japanese Language delivers classes in Japanese.

To pursue courses in Japanese, students are required to be really good at it. Most Japanese-based courses at Waseda Uni require a JLPT N1 or EJU Japanese score of 260+ on a scale of 400.

To prove one's English language skills students will  have to submit the following scores for admission to ICL mentioned below-

  • DET- 115-125 overall
  • IELTS Academic- 6.5-7.0 overall
  • PTE- 62-69 overall
  • TOEFL iBT- 92-100 overall

UG students need to submit proof of German language proficiency at TU Berlin. For master's courses the language requirements vary. To prove one's English language proficiency, they need to submit the following scores: 

  • TOEFL iBT- 79 minimum
  • IELTS Academic- 6.0 minimum

For UG programs at BPP students must score 6.0 with 5.5 in each skill in IELTS and 64 overall with 60 in each skills minimum in PTE Academic. TOEFL iBT is not accepted.

For Masters programs students must score 6.5 with 6 in each skill in IELTS, 70 overall with 64 in each skill minimum in PTE Academic, or 79 in TOEFL iBT.

To become eligible for first degree programs at BITS Pilani Dubai campus students must prove their English language skills if they completed schooling for a non-English medium school. They have score TOEFL score of 500 in paper based test, 61 in TOEFL iBT or 6 in IELTS
