Itni important to note that Event Management is of course an emergency domain and the Certification/Degree from the best place is going to get related certainly. To take Admission in a BJMC/Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication in any of the colleges in India, one must be a 12th Pass Students. The XII can be from any education boars but the Certificate is a MUST. If YOU have DONE Polytechnic Diploma which is considered equivalent to 12th You can easily apply for a Degree of Journalism and Mass Communication.

After Doing a Graduation, you become eligible to do a Post Graduate Diploma which is more valid than a Diploma done after12th. You should pursue a Diploma in Event Management if you have the skills that can be enhanced by doing this course of Formal Learning in Event Management. While you pursue a PG Diploma, please do remember that some of the universities give direct admission to Second Year of Post Graduation on the basis of such Diploma.
