Both the courses have their own specialisations in their own field. It all depends upon on your interest area whether you want to become an event manager or do B.Com. Set your goals and achieve them.

Well Event management course is a very interesting one as you will be able to work for any events
as the number of oppurnity is high in abroad as they have huge events so you will have a option to work at both places
The faculty depends on the collage you choose and as per your collage faculties and placements are good
Just go for it
Good Luck

You can do B.Com with event management side by side but I think you must concentrate on your goal and build your interest area, whatever you want to become, you should go in that particular field.
Good Luck.
