Event management would take some more time to gain reputation. If you don't like finance or accounting and if you have good communication skills, I would suggest to take MBA in HR. Christ University is the best university there.

The best way to go about it is, pursue a short term event management course and then apply for event management firms.

Hello Mounika,
MBA entrance exam has nothing to do with which specialization you are interested into.
I would suggest that you should enroll for CAT and MAT.
Good luck.

NIEM is a very good and renowned institute for event management. It would be better if you go for MBA over PG Diploma in event management.

Yes, you can definitely start your own firm but the best would be if you start working at any event management firm. As that will not only give you experience but will also help you learn some management tactics to run your business successfully.
