As per my experience, I would suggest- PGDAME because event management requires experience more than education after a point. If a person has studied event management in their graduation, then they do not need to spend 2 more years in MBA; a few months of diploma is better and can get them a job easily. Everything else i.e. growth and success, then depends on the individual, their passion and their ability to grab opportunities to gain experience and knowledge.
