Hi Rashmi,Both are very interesting courses. You should ask yourself which interests you more and which you feel you are good at doing. Also, look out for the colleges that provide good internships and placements. I have heard that event management have certain risks involved. If you have that risk taking ability, then go for it or if you are a person who wants to make career in hospitality then go for hotel management. All the best.

Yes you can do both courses parallel as well. But you have to do hotel management on regular basis, and event can be on distance mode. Then only you can do both together. But seriously if you asked, then I will suggest you event management course after graduation. There are a lot of opportunities in event management course. Because each and every organisation need to organize a event either its on small level or big one. So scope of event management is very wide.

IIEM and NIEM are two options that are named and offer specialisation in Event Management. You can do Event Management courses via distance mode as well but it is recommended that you go for a regular course only so that the learning of event management is meaningful and makes your career.
