Exam Pattern

The NIELIT O level will be conducted as a pen-and-paper test. The students have to attempt four theory papers and one practical exams. The theory exam will be of objective multiple-choice type. Each paper will be of 100 marks. There will be no adverse marking for wrong answers. NIELIT O level is conducted twice a year.

As per the CUSAT CAT exam pattern there will be 225 MCQs. The mathematics section will have 90 questions, physics will have 75 questions, while chemistry will have 60 questions. The exam duration is 3 hr and the maximum mark is 675.

The GATE 2026 exam pattern for CS, EC, EE, and ME can be checked below. The general aptitude section (GA) carries 15 marks, while the subject-based questions carries 85 marks, out of which engineering mathematics section consists of 13 marks. Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test is conducted online. The duration of the test is three hours. COMEDK questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each question carries 1 mark. Also, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
