The candidates can revise from the Lucent books but additional information is required for the UPPSC exam. The factual information provided in the Lucent book can be very useful for the prelims exam.

No, only NCERT books are not sufficient for the UPPSC exam preparation. The NCERT books can provide an introduction to the topic but they do not dive into details because they are written as per the syllabus of Class IX to XII. However, in the UPPSC exam, the topics need to be covered in their entirety.

The candidates should know all the subtopics of that topic. The candidates should complete the NCERT books within a week of starting them.

Generally speaking, it is recommended that candidates start preparing for the exam at least 3-4 months before the exam date. This allows enough time for you to cover the entire syllabus, revise and practice previous years' question papers and mock tests. It is important to create a study schedule and stick to it, devoting a few hours every day to studying.

To score high in NMAT exam, a candidate must follow an approach to attempt the questions for which he/she knows the answer, and guess the question for which he/she doesn't know the answer.
