Alliance University is a pretty good choice for a executive PGDM. My ex-manager is a visiting professor for the course and she is someone with loads of knowledge about marketing and strategy. She had informed me that many of the visiting professors are from top MNCs. I think the industry angle is something that is critical for the success of an Exec PGDM course and Alliance is inclined towards providing the best coaches from all over the industry.
I have attended the sessions and the teaching mode and delivery pattern is top-notch. You should definitely go for it.
Also, the kind of networking opportunity that you will get by attending th

Hi,
There are various entrance exams in India in order to join good MBA colleges. CAT and MAT are the most common exams which are widely accepted by many colleges in India. There are other exams like CMAT, XAT and many others.

It is not necessary. If you want to be placed in abroad, get your regular MBA done from a reputed institute and aim for placements with an MNC. You might have to start in India but eventually you can ask for a change in the location.

Just remember that neither an MBA nor an EMBA guarantees job security. But both should equip you with important skill sets, a valuable business network and some prestige that comes with a higher degree, the preference ultimately comes down to your flexibility in timing and money. As a side note, in a 2009 survey conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, EMBAs were the most satisfied with their education.

EMBA is for working professional and PGDM is similar to normal MBA. So, if you are a working professional you can do EMBA because it requires experience.
