The jobs for immigration officers in india are under ministry of external affairs. The two paths for it are:
1. UPSC: Clear the exam ( C-Sat, Paper-II, & finally Interview, this is totally 1 year process) with 1st 10-15 Ranks, then you can get into Indian Foreign Services, as Grade -A officer in Ministry of External Affairs.
2. SSC (Staff Selection Commission): This is for the assistant grade officers/ Grade - B officers.
Please do not confuse it with SSC for State cadre. Those are different and very specific to the requirement of States in the Union of India.
Staff Selection Commission exams are conducted twice in a year. You are allowed to select your choice services up to 16 different services, depending upon the vacancies and requirement of the central govt. Clear the exam ( Tier-1, Tier-2 , finally interview), with good grades, to join the Ministry of External Affairs.

Executive Education :
It was a deliberate decision to begin the academic activities at IIMA with an Executive Education Programme (EEP). The first set of executive courses designed, developed, and offered by IIMA have now become popular as the 3-Tier Programmes (3TP). Since then, IIMA has been constantly adding to the list of EEPs. This list includes the flagship EEPs such as:

Transforming Small & Medium Enterprises
These EEPs known as general Management Programmes (GMPs) are designed with the objective of providing insights into managerial concepts and techniques relevant for formulating and implementing strategies in functional areas and an overall perspective for decision-making by integrating functional and general management approaches.
