A candidate is eligible to appear in CAT2019, if he/she holds a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. But, to get admission in FMS you have to score 99 percentile or more.

Yes, you are eligible, but to enter the institution you will have to score higher percentile, around 95-98. Also, try to have a higher percentile in VA section. All the best for your exams, work hard.

Your academic performance is very good, and you can also get admission in FMS. You need to have around 90 percentile to get admission.

Hello ,
You have to score around 90% in cat exam to get admission in the FMS Institute. The cut offs for the institute are very high.

You should have above 95 percentile in CAT and after that you have to qualify the FMS entrance exam also. Only then, you can get admission there.

It depends on you as a student. If you are mediocre, FMS is the place to be. NOBODY flunks at FMS. You will end up getting decent internals, so you will definitely pass. On the other hand there are quite a few number of students who drop out of the top Iims (to put it politely they flunk). Placements completely depend on you. Top IB, consulting firms don't visit FMS or at max takes one student (roles differ from top Iims). But the fact remains, if you are mediocre, you would not have made it to a top notch firm in a desirable role even in IIMABC. There are few students at FMS who would not last a semester at IIM ABC.
