You can go for entrance exams held by various universities. The top government institutes are NID and NIFT. As per your course in designing you can go for various private institutions too. Generally, the entrance exam is divided into CAT or GAT. Followed by studio test and personal interview.

Hello Monica,
You have chance to get into fashion designing field. There are so many institutes that provide various diploma, degree and certification courses for Fashion Designing. After completion of your Bachelor degree, you can apply for Bachelor degree in Fashion Designing with 3 or 4 years duration or if you think that degree duration is so long then you can for 1 year diploma courses or 1-2 years certification courses.

Hello Vipin,
Students taking up the certificate in interior designing can complete the program in one year or less, the associate's degree takes about two years to complete, whereas the Bachelor's degree takes about four years to be completed. Duration of Bachelor of fashion design is 3-4 years.

To become a fashion designer, choose a college to do a degree in fashion designing. Bachelor degrees are provided in both science and technology.
If you are doing 12th in science group, choose fashion designing in B.Tech or in B.Sc.
If you need a good job, do PG also.
Many entrance exam also available for doing fashion designing course in reputed colleges for that you need to prepare in advance.

If you want to become a professional fashion designer, you need to pursue a degree in fashion designing. It would be better if you do complete a PG.
