Professional Designers
Fashion Coordinators
Pattern Makers
Sketching Assistants
Fashion Merchandiser
Production Managers
Dress and Costume Designers in Film Industry
The students can also establish their own set up in the form of Boutiques, professional practice, freelancer designers etc.

You can pursue fashion designing from NIFT. It is the best institute in India for fashion and design technology.
NIFT conducts entrance every year for admission into Diploma and graduation courses in fashion designing.
You must be 10+2 pass from any recognised board of education if you want to apply for this entrance exam. There is no need of maths for this entrance exam. So don't worry if you don't have maths. But to get admission you have to get a very good rank in the entrance exam.

To become a fashion designer you have to pursue a fashion designing course from a reputed institute.
The minimum qualification is 10+2 with 50% of marks.
To do Fashion designing you have to appear for entrance tests:-
1. Common Entrance Test for Design or
2. National Entrance Examination for Design or
3. NIFT entrance test.

These are available with the coaching centres only. They will provide the previous year's question papers once you take up coaching with them. Also, look up at bookstores that sell old used books. There are many chances of you getting these there.

There are undergraduate FD courses offered by many colleges. Top among them are NIFT, Peal Academy, NID, etc.
Besides, there there are 1-2 years PG Diploma courses also available (if you are a graduate already). NIFT has all India entrance, which is quite tough. Not sure which state you are in. But, all the colleges provide internships and good job placements in export houses and buying houses.
