Your degree or Diploma in fashion design does not matter for employers. What really matters is your portfolio. If you have a strong portfolio and your work is good, you may find a good placement. However, the package should not be a constraint. Good brands may not offer big packages but to get associated with them is a big thing. You may get hired by the best designers at low package initially, but if your work is good then you may see a good raise in a very short time.

Go for post-graduation in fashion designing if you want to make a career in fashion stream. Degree courses give you in-depth knowledge whereas Diploma course gives you basic knowledge.
