Becoming a writer is the easiest thing to do. You only need to write. Simple. However, what matters more is that you should be able to write well.
You may write a book in a month or two, or even sooner than this and subsequently, you would easily manage to rope in a plenty of publishers to take your work to its potential readers. But this would be, believe me, a perfect recipe of disaster.
One should write only when there is an interesting story to share, interesting enough for the hundreds of thousands of people to get excited about it. If the storys theme is not fascinating, at least the narration ought to be gripping and imp

Technology never create differences for girls and boys in terms of scope. Talking about video editing and motion graphics, both fields have a wide scope in the field of animation and film-making due to the advent of technology. Moreover, it will always be your knowledge, skill-set and passion that will grab you better opportunities rather than your gender.

First of all, you have to acquire knowledge in the cinematography field. The best way to start is to study Photography, since Cinematography and Photography share a lot of common elements. Yes, you are right. You'll have to take up a Bachelor's course in film-making/cinematography to pursue film-making and editing. Or, another great idea would be to pursue a course in mass communication, media and journalism which covers the same wide wider concepts included as per the course. You may go for any of it. Choose the right option.

All the best.
