Acting and modelling can be done as part time studies even at advanced level. However, it is really good if you are doing it the regular way.
You need to be skilled at communication skills for sure.
Parallel courses are of three types: distance mode, online mode like MOOCs and regular courses.
It depends on what type of course you are doing already.
The parallel courses suggested are:
1 A degree in a popular language that shall be used in your works and place.
2 Content writing and proof reading.
3. Web development and digital marketing.
4. Music and sound mixing basics/audio production.
5. Advertising and public relations management.

We're discussing this question whether public relations corporate communications are better or poor than camera editing or camera work jobs or careers.
There is an important observation regarding this that candidates who are good in communication skills, those who know how to handle situations, conflicts as well and those who know how to manage the interactions between one company and other stakeholders should go for PR field.
Corporate communication is also the same thing as Public Relations whereas camera work is a technical work in which you manage the camera, production of some documentaries or you do the photography, etc. It's a d

As far as I am concerned, for acting and anchoring, all you need is good looks and good communication skills. If you have gained both of them after completing the course then probably you can join somewhere, but if you still haven't worked upon your communication skills then pursuing a good course that will help you enhance the same will do.
For this, you need to take a decision and think what will suit you the best.

Acting as a career involves more than just performing in movies. Working actors perform in live theater productions, at theme parks, in commercials, and on television shows. You will need creativity, speaking, literacy, and reading skills, memorization, physical stamina, persistence, discipline, and dedication and ability to communicate with a wide variety of people. No formal training is required but the aspirants need to work a lot. College degree programs allow students to expand their skill

The cinematography is all about the art as well as skills to make the best of camera and place for the shoot of a film. This skill is possessed by those who have sharp minds, quick hearts and minds and strong observation skills. The essentials of becoming a cinematographer are so complex and elite that we can not think of acquiring them in isolation. A distance mode degree for the sake of making an educational qualification and eligibility may be fine but someone to be called a cinematographer just because a degree or certificate was done via distance mode, that is not praiseworthy.

It is not worth pursuing a certificate in camera and lighting from distance learning in India or from anywhere because this 'camera' thing needs real learning which is more than the classroom. Such learnings and experiences come when the cameraman gets time to learn the nuances and advanced things at a dedicated place.

Creative aspects of learning are developed when a class meets. Hence, we may not suggest a total distanc
