College has its own criteria of admission. Some might just take an interview, while others conduct an aptitude test to see how suitable you are for the course. The aptitude test generally covers 4 topics namely quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning, English Language and core subject questions (direction and film making). There are very few colleges that provide BA in Acting in India like Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. But, I will suggest you to take a short term Diploma or certificate course in acting instead of looking for a full time Bachelors course. You should rather do your graduation in some other field simultaneously, as you cannot rely completely on acting as your career choice. Now the answer to your question is: A TV correspondent is to be understood as a reporter for the electronic channel I.e. news channel. The difference between this and that of a news presenter is that this one is the news provider, sender and the one who is in the field not in the news room. Hence, there are certainly small but important things to be kept in mind: The field job is demanding, not just travel, but risks as well as longer commitments.
