WWI Entrance Exam 2026: Application Form (Open), Exam Date (OUT), Syllabus and Results

Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication, and Creative Arts invites online application forms for admission to the B.Des courses offered by participating colleges of the institute. The application form for the WWI 2026 exam is open. The Application fee is INR 3,500. To fill out the form, click on the application link and fill in all the required details. One must use only correct and verifiable information when filling out the form.

1. Go to the application portal and click on the application form link 

2. In the registration form that opens, fill in details like name, email ID, and phone number

3. Upon registration, log in to fill in other details like communication, contact, and academic information

4. Upload all relevant details as per the given format

5. Pay the application fees to complete the process.

The Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication, and Creative Arts sets the rules for who can apply for the WWI Entrance Exam 2026. The eligibility rules are different for each program.

• To apply, you must have passed your Class 12 from any recognized board. The age limit says you should be at least 17 years old when applying for WWI Admissions 2026.
• Students who appeared for their Class 12 exams in March 2026 can also apply. They will get provisional admission, which becomes final only after they show proof that they passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
• Before you fill the WWI 2026 application form, make sure you meet all the eligibility rules. If not, your application won’t be accepted for admission.

WWI Exam Process 2026

The following steps are included in the selection process at WWI:

1. MECAT: Candidates are required to appear for MECAT, which is the Media & Entertainment Common Aptitude Test. 
2. CAT: MECAT will be followed by the Creative Aptitude Test.
3. SOP:  After the MECAT and CAT, SOP (Statement of Purpose) will be presented.
4. P.I.: This is the last step. A Personal Interview is conducted to check how fit a candidate is for the WWI. It is done to know the candidates more.

Candidates seeking admission to the Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication, and Creative Arts need to appear in the WWI entrance exam. The step-wise admission process is mentioned below.

Fill out the WWI Application Form

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may fill out the WWI application form. As part of the application filling process, get registered, fill in personal, educational, and contact details, and pay their application fee (INR 3,500)

Get WWI Entrance Exam Admit Card

Aspirants can download their WWI Entrance Exam 2026 admit card from the official website of the college. Candidates will not be allowed to take the WWI entrance test if they do not possess a valid admit card for the exam.

Give WWI Entrance Exam

The entrance exam conducted by Whistling Woods School of Fashion and Design is of two hours' duration and is divided into two parts, General Aptitude Test and Creative Ability Test. 

Appear for the Interview

Candidates who clear the WWI entrance exam then need to appear for the personal interview round and submit their Statement of Purpose (SoP). Writing a SoP is a subjective test that aspirants need to take at the WWI campus on the day of the interview. All the shortlisted candidates need to appear for the personal interview round, which will be conducted by a panel of the Faculty of the programme for which the aspirant has applied. The personal interview round will also be conducted at the WWI campus.

Result for WWI entrance exam will be declared within a week of completion on the official website. Selected candidates shall receive a ‘Selection Intimation’ email. Waitlisted or rejected candidates must contact the admissions counselor for updates, as they will not receive any email or message. If a candidate is upgraded to the "Selected List," individual selection letters will be sent to them.

"All components of the Selection Process will be held in the WWI Campus in Mumbai and will be completed in a single day. Students /parents will have to make their travel arrangements and also stay arrangements, if applicable", informs the official website of WWI.

• The candidate needs to refer to the WWI admit card 2026 to check the details of the exam center allocated to them, for instance, the name and address.
• Report at the exam center as per the reporting time. Note that latecomers may not be allowed inside the exam venue.
• Bring your admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication, and Creative Arts shared the fee details for the 2026 session. The fee list is out for all courses like BSc Filmmaking, MA Filmmaking, B.Des Animation, and B.Des Game Design too.

For the B.Des in Animation and B.Des in Game Design, the total fee is around INR 18,00,000. The B.Des in Visual Communication Design and B.Des in Fashion Design cost about INR 17,00,000 in total.

The WWI Fee Structure 2026 has many parts like infra cost, equipment and material, project cost, tuition fee, and also a security deposit.

The fees for B.Des in Fashion Communication is almost same range, it covers all main charges like study material, projects, and other learning tools. You pay it semester wise or yearly, as the institute says.
