The Florida Atlantic University document requirements for the international student are as follows:
- Students must have official transcripts from previous institutions with a minimum Bachelor GPA of 3.3 (of a 4.0 maximum) in the last 60 credits attempted prior to graduation.
- Exam scores including standardized scores and the English language test scores.
- Letter of application
- Letter of recommendation.

For some of the Florida Atlantic University Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are mandatory. Most MS Courses related to Civil, Environmental & Geomatics Engineering; data Science and analytics; and mechanical engineering require GRE scores. The minimum combined score (verbal and quantitative) of the GRE required at the university is 310 or above.

Yes, Florida Atlantic University requires Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores for the admission in business and management related programs. The GMAT scores should be 500 or above. However, some of the programs at the university do not require the GMAT scores or require other exam scores in place of GMAT or can be waived for the students who have higher GPA scores.
Additionally, the GMAT scores are not older than 5 years for all the students and students must check the detailed requirement of the GMAT score before applying for the program.
