Accommodation at Florida university is challenging to the Indian students. Finding a place to live in campus can be tough. They aren't many options available it is also pretty expensive with charges from $10,000 to $15,000 per year. And if you are looking for a place off campus it might also be challenging.

For an Indian student, off-campus accommodation is typically cheaper. Off- campus accommodation can save upto $10000 annually and on-campus accommodation can cost you $3000-5000 per semester. If you wish to live off-campus you should also consider extra cost like car and travel to campus on a daily basis. Therefore it up to you and your budget and convenience.

You can apply for scholarships which are based on SAT/ACT scores which provides $6000 annually but it does not cover entire tuition cost. Additionally you will have to maintain 3.5 GPA to avail any scholarship. It is unlikely to study free at Florida Atlantic University but International students can get many scholarships based on English proficiency and ACT/SAT Scores.
