Career in forensic science:
Forensic science is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences and technologies to investigate and establish facts of interest in relation to criminal or civil law. Forensic science involves investigating a crime by applying scientific principles.
Forensic scientists use the latest technology and collect evidence such as traces of blood, saliva, other body fluids, hair, fingerprints, etc. The experts work closely with the police and provide evidence admissible in court.

It's very good to know your dream of becoming expert in forensic science. However eligibility is 10+2 with science which you must have since you have done engineering. It's a three year B.Sc course. There is no entrance exam and admission is based on marks of 12th.

You can get admission to pursue forensic science. However, before that, I would advise you to first completely focus on your scorecard. You should be on top as far as class 12th is concerned. However, there are various institutions providing graduation and PG into the field of forensic science like BT Institute of Excellence, Sagar or Gujarat University of Forensic Science.
