Yes, sure you can.
Career Requirements. While some employers require a Bachelor's degree in video game design or computer Science, a high school Diploma is the minimum requirement. You may need to have experience working in computer Science, programming, or art. Most developers have a higher education qualification, such as degree or HND. To get on a relevant degree you need five GCSEs grade C or above including Maths, English and a Science subject, plus at least two A levels. Relevant A levels include Maths, physics, computing and technology.

Hi,
Yes, you can but I believe you need to have a personnell on to this t o whom you can show your design, plan.
You will not just start making your game , correct? it's a long process.
you make a plan, design, methodology, code and environment.check for compatibility, scalability and probability.
for all this you need a mentor.
Choose a person whom you find will suit to be your partner in this.
And plan.
All the best!

Both of the tasks are very important for creating a successful game. You should pick one which interests you, if you are good in creativity, animation, etc. Then go for designing and if you are good in coding then game programming. If you want to learn programming which are used in Unity Game Engine, then you should learn C# which is the official language which is used in Unity to create games.
