Yes, Ganga Institute of Technology and Management does offer lateral entry into the second year for its BTech programme. The duration of the course is three years. To be eligible for admission, students must fulfil any one of the following criteria:
- Passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggreate of 45% (42.75% for students belonging to the reserved category of Haryana only) in any branch of Engineering & Technology. Or
- BSc from a recognised university with a minimum aggreate of 45% (42.75% for students belonging to the reserved category of Haryana only) and Mathematics as a compulsory subject Or
- BVoc/ DVoc in the same or allie

Ganga Institute of Technology and Management admissions are subject to preset admission criteria. The institute admits students on the basis of their academic merit. Further, the institute may consider other parameters as well. Students may need to appear for the scholarship-cum-admission test conducted by the institute.
