The candidates seeking admission to the BSc course at Gargi College need to pass Class 12 or any equivalent examination from a recognised board. Admission to the BSc courses at Gargi College will be done based on the marks scored on the CUET. Registration on the CUET portal and appearing for its examination are prerequisites to the admissions process. The candidates seeking admission to the BA programme at Gargi College have to pass Class 12 or an examination of similar nature from a duly recognised board. At Gargi College, admission to the BA programmes will be based on the CUET scores. Candidates have to register for the CUET and appear for the same to be considered for admission. Based on the CUET scores, a merit list is prepared, and candidates with higher ranks will be given preference during the seat allocation process.

Gargi College offers a full-time two-year MSc programme across Chemistry specialisations to the students. Now, DU declared that PG admissions will take place on the basis of DUET. However, those with a BSc in Chemistry degree have an option to take admission in two ways: Direct Admission and through Entrance Test.
ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA : Graduation from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate.
Selection Process: CUET-PG.

1- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
2- The candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
3- For some courses, the candidate must have studied specific subjects in the qualifying examination.
4- The admission process for UG and PG courses is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA.

Admission to all the Gargi College courses is entrance-based. While Gargi College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. The eligibility requirements for all the popular programmes offered by the college are tabulated below:
