If you are interested, then you can pursue this course. It has good scope and variable placements, if you are passionate towards it. SRM - Chennai is a better option for genetic engineering.

B.Sc genetics is offered by Institute of Genetic Engineering (Affiliated under WBUT). After completing B.Sc, you can pursue M.Sc genetic engineering from the same college or WBUT main campus.
