Geography is divided into two main areas which are human geography and physical geography. I would suggest you to give more focus towards human geography for its preparation. In that, you must study more about Indian geography since it is more asked in any entrance exam for geography.

The Presidency College, which is the most prestigious college under Calcutta University has a cut off of 80% in the department of Geography.
