You have to qualify in BHU UET. Board performance doesn't account for any weightage in the entrance Exam i.e. UET. Though you have to score a minimum set of marks which are expressed in the UET prospectus ( Differs for General, OBC etc. )
After you have appeared for UET, the marks you obtain will be crucial in determining whether or not you will be allotted Geology Honors because It is one of the most sought after Honors course in the University.
There are three subject combinations which involve Geology Hons :
PMG Physics MATHEMATICS, GEOLOGY)
BGC (BOTANY, GEOLOGY, Chemistry )
GGC (GEOLOGY, GEOGRAPHY, CHEMISTRY)
BGC & GGC are for students

This is the first I have ever heard of geo tourism. Sounds like an interesting concept. I would think that a Bachelor in geology would be good preparation for a job in that area. You would need to be able to clearly understand the geology, so you would need a good set of background courses (sedimentology, stratigraphy, mineralogy, structural and historical geology). And you would have to understand it well enough to be able to explain it to non-geologists and answer questions. It does sound like a fun and rewarding way to make a living.
