Many of the above listed colleges provide an Integrated BS-MS course in geology and in some, (like IITs and IIScs) you need a valid IIT-JEE score to be considered eligible. Also, the final admission is purely based on merit.

There are more than 300 colleges in India. These offer a geology specialization. The fee structure of every college tends to vary depending on its course level offered, course curriculum, infrastructure, college rating, etc. The average Geology course fee ranges between INR 1,190 to INR 10 Lakh.

The entrance test will be conducted by the Faculty of Science for admission to the course. Syllabus for the entrance test shall be of graduate level geology. The admissions will be given entirely on the basis of merit of the candidate's performance in the entrance test. The last date of registration is 6th June.
