Geologists study Earth processes: Many processes such as landslides, earthquakes, floods, and volcanic eruptions can be hazardous to people. Geologists conduct studies that locate rocks that contain important metals, plan the mines that produce them and the methods used to remove the metals from the rocks. Geology in everyday life is not restricted to resources. It is also about hazards and risk associated with rock falls, radon, landslides, quick clay, landslides and earthquakes. Geology helps us understand climate change in the past, which may help us predict future scenarios. So it is not a Geologists responsibility alone to save the Earth.
