Yes, GMAT score is accepted for Indian students. Cutoff score for IMT-Hyderabad (last year data)
CAT- 70 percentile
XAT- 70 percentile
CMAT- 70 percentile
GMAT- 550 score.

Hello RIddhi, Usually GMAT requirement is less in Australia universities for MBA. But work experience is required that too managerial level of to 3 years. Even if you have not cleared GMAT and have experience you can still apply to ranked universities in Australia.

Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree examination. A relaxation of 2.5% marks in the eligibility criteria will be given to the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. GMAT is "easier" than CAT w. r. t. the no. of concepts tested. GMAT tests a finite no. of concepts but it's tricky w. r. t. to the standard/level of questions that are asked. Quant is more difficult in CAT than in GMAT. Verbal is more difficult in GMAT than in CAT. So, as per your individual strengths and weaknesses across different sections, you may find one of the tests easier than the other. Besides, GMAC (the organisation conducting GMAT gives away 2 full-length GMAT tests free. So, you can take one of these tests to figure out where you stand.
