Yes, overall a good option. If you are interested to work in German corporates you might be exposed to a good network. Post study work option and PR options are also quite good. But, not every university has a good MBA programme. You must check for top ones like Mannheim, Frankfurt, Otto Beisheim etc.

If you prefer group studies, get to a training institute close by your house, if you need separate special attention, then I suggest online or offline personal is the best. However there are certain disadvantages with offline personal and that is cost involved will surely be high, you may or may not be comfortable with the person knowing your address, so make a wise and the best applicable choice. By offline personal I mean, the tutor coming to your residence. All the best for your future endeavors.

First of all, both CAT and GMAT have different patterns. Although, both measure a person's abilities like Quantitative and verbal, but the content differs. GMAT is an adaptive test, which means as you answer the question right, a harder question will be given to you and if you answer wrong, a question easier or equal to your last question will be given. You can move forward only if you answer the current question. Whereas, CAT is a linear test where questions are numbered and you can go back and forth anytime and choose which question you want to answer first. Yes, you can get a good University without GMAT, but you have to give TOEFL or IELTS, which is Language based exam.
