WB GNM exam registration deadline was extended till Apr 24. Earlier, the last date to apply was Apr 21. Aspirants preparing to take the entrance test should ensure that they register and submit their application on or before the deadline. No applications are accepted after the application deadline.

Yes, KEI Kolkata accept WB GNM exam score for admission to the Diploma Nursing course. This state-level entrance exam is conducted by the West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Department and West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board. The entrance exam include 65 questions in MCQ format. Apart from this, for admission to GNM at KEI, aspirants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board.

KEI Kolkata GNM fee include various components, such as hostel fee, tuition fee, security deposit, etc. Some of the components are charged annually/semesterly, such as tuition fee. In the following table, the fee components are mentioned along with the amount:

General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) is a three-and-a-half-year diploma programme in Nursing. This KEI Kolkata course can be pursued by Class 12 pass outs. During the course, candidates are required to undergo an internship for six months. The institute offer admission to this course through WB GNM exam. GNM Diploma holders can begin their careers by working in public and private hospitals and clinics.

- Minimum age of admission is 17 years (as on 31st December of that year).
- Candidates must pass Class 12 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% aggregate at the qualifying examination from any recognised board.
- Class 12 with English having 40% aggregate in vocational ANM course from the school recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
