No, the Government College of Engineering and Research, Avasari does not provide 100% Placements. Around 50-60 per cent of students get placed. This has been evident by looking at the student reviews on the Shiksha website. If you are considering this institute, you are suggested to go through the reviews in detail on the Shiksha website itself.

No, Government College of Engineering and Research, Avasari is not the best in Pune because Many users mentioned that there are no placements or very few placements for Computer Science department. However, some other departments have had placements. Some reviews suggested that there are problems related to living in the village where the college is located.

Dr. D. Y. Patil institute of technology has better placements, with higher packages and more recruiters, especially in IT, due to its location and industry links. Avasari offers fewer placements but has fewer high-paying opportunities. Before choosing an institute to apply for, you are suggested to refer to the Shiksha website to compare both of them and also you can read student reviews on the same.

The government college, B.D.T College of Engineering, is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Established in the year 1951, it was the only government engineering college in Karnataka in the olden days. Over the years, it shifted to various affiliations and it is now a constituent of the VTU since 24th of February 2011.
