UPSC has not recommended any particular dress code for the IAS interview. However, as per experts, the following things should be kept in mind when dressing for an IAS interview:
1. Make sure that you are wearing clean and properly ironed clothes.
2. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid too-tight or too-loose dresses.
3. You should wear formals to the interview. For men, usually shirts and trousers are recommended, and women should wear a saree or Alwar suit.

Yes, you may get a job even if you don't clear the IAS interview. Generally, those who do not get selected after reaching this stage have three options:
1. Work in another government or related sector: You can work as an assistant director in SAI or apply to the PSUs that recruit CSE Mains-qualified candidates.
