No, you cannot change your post preference after the exam is over. When filling out the SSC GD application form, you must enter the post preference code. Once you have submitted this form, you are not allowed to change your post preference. So, you should be careful while filling out the post-preference code section of the application form. It is mandatory to fill out all seven preferences on the GD form.
