According to me, all three main subjects should be necessary Maths Physics and Chemistry, you should have to prepare with all three main subjects to attempt IAS exam.

Yes, candidates who have completed the class 12th from a recognised board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Class 12th candidates are also eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. You must have a citizenship of India, Nepal or Bhutan.

NDA (National Defence Academy)
The National Defence Academy is the joint services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. Eligibility Criteria for TES Technical Entry Scheme. Education: Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For joining NDA, you need to clear the written examination which is conducted twice a year.
But you need to at least score about 85% in PCM to get a call letter for SSB interview of TES 10+2 entry.

In IBPS PO preliminary examination, there will not be any history related question. But, in the IBPS PO Mains Exam there will be questions related to general awareness which also include question from Indian History. Some topics you should cover is Countries and capitals, Countries and currency, Airports in India, Dams in India, National parks, Rivers on which dams stay, Important dates, Dances in which state, Governors and cm of India, Cultures of India.
