Hi, the curriculum for preparation to appear for Indian Forest Services examination conducted under UPSC is quiet vast in nature but yet accomplishable. The IFS exam takes place in 3 rounds- preliminary exam, main exam, and interview. The curriculum for preliminary examination is same as that of UPSC (IAS, IPS) exam including History, geography, economics, and political Science, international relations, ecology, Science and technology and current affairs in detail along with an aptitude test. The eligibility criteria is:
Candidates must be an Indian citizen. Applicants must have the domicile of Utter Pradesh to get the reservation and the relaxation
Candidate must be completed a Bachelor of Law degree from a University established by Law in Uttar Pradesh or any other University of India recognised for this purposes by the Governor, or
Must be an Advocate registered under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of Northern Ireland or England or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is permitted to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto;
Candidates should possess a complete knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script. The age of the candidates must be between 22 years and 35 years (both included). Candidates of the reserved category will get the reservation and relaxation in the upper age if they have permanent domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The age relaxation for the SC and ST category will be of 5 years. The age relaxation for the candidates of the OBC category will be 3 years.

10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry:
Age: 17 to 19 years. Educational Qualification: Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 70 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
