Hi Farheen, UPSC exams can be taken by students from all disciplines however coming from a commerce background you can opt for a Bachelor of Economics program, Economics on the whole covers a huge chunk of topics in UPSC exams. However keep your interest and aptitude when you choose the program. You must excel in your academics. Another option could be B.Com/LLB.

No, it is not mandatory to study in a govt college to get a govt job. You need to concentrate on GATE exam and perform well in it. So start your preparation well before hand.
All the best!

No such computer courses: Try sample papers available online and aptitude questions which are common for most exams. Testsbook.com is a great website for bank exam preparation, you will find many sample papers there and exams are based on similar patterns.

HI Priyanka,
BMS- Bachelor of Management Studies would give you opportunities in the field related to your subject. For example, if you do BMS in Tourism & Hospitality Management then you will get a job in that field. If it is done in International Marketing then you may get absorbed for marketing job too. The starting level of work will be like that of an Assistant Manager. You need to mention your subjects here.

Hi Himanshu,
If you have completed your 12th, you must have known by now which subject interests you more, you can choose accordingly. There is no specific subject required to take your IAS however History, Geography, Sociology , Political Science and Economics are among the most covered topics with political Science and Economics being the most common amongst IAS test takers. Also Economics is good since it gives both quants and theory aspects. To clear IAS in the first attempt you need to prepare rigorously and start the preparation 9 - 12 months before the exam date.
