To join B.E. / B.Tech in Government Engineering College, Valsad, one must pass 10+2 globally or mathematics, chemistry, physics, and must score 45 percent or 40 percent (for reserved categories) in B.E. / B.Tech and must have a valid GUJCET or JEE Main score. Accommodation at Government Engineering College, Valsad: This cost is very cheap, estimated at 3350 per year, although according to some students reports inclusive mess and amenities cost would amount to an estimated 3350-3500 per year. It has both boys and girls hostels with reasonable capacity, which is shared, has mess services and recreation centre so that, students feel comfortable and find it cost effective to spend time on campus.

Yes Government Engineering College, Valsad is a reputed and a renowned government engineering college that has been in existence since 2004 affiliated to GTU and recognised by AICTE. It has basic engineering streams (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science) and its seat intake is 60 120 per stream. It has over the years established a good alumni pool among Gujarat industries.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Government Engineering College, Valsad, offers BTech and MTech courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in JEE Main and GATE for admission to BTech and MTech, respectively.
