GUJCET

A state-level exam, GUJCET will be held for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy courses in government, grant-in-aid and self-financed engineering institutions in the state. GUJCET entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) tentatively in the last week of April. Please note that the role of GSEB will end with the declaration of result. The remaining part of the admission process, including counselling and seat allotment, will be conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Counselling will be conducted based on the merit list that will be drawn up by giving 40% weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in GUJCET and 60% weightage to percentile obtained in board exams. So board percentile plays an important role here and Ist preference will be given to a candidate who have scored higher marks at board level if both obtained same marks in GUJCET.
