In addition, they can also work as private consultant and private practitioner.

After passing intermediate or 10+2 one has to study Science subjects, such as food and nutrition, food Science and food technology. After passing graduate degree in any one of the above subject a Masters degree in Nutrition is required. After having post graduation degree for your betterment a doctoral degree will certainly add feather in your cap. You have to also appear in RD exams to become a registered dietician.
There are many universities in India offering B.Sc in food Science, nutrition and food technology. Mainly college of home Science in any university are running these courses. Some universities are also offering
