Yes, Food and Nutrition admissions are offered on both merit and entrance basis. You need to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in your class 12 from a recognised board. Students of any stream can opt for food and nutrition courses. You can also consider preparing for some entrance exams such as CUET, LPU NEST etc.

You might apply for universities like Andhra University or Sri Venkateswara University to pursue an M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition. Usually, most of the colleges grant entrance along with entrance exams conducted by universities such as the Andhra University Common Entrance Test, that is AUCET or SVU Postgraduate Entrance Test known as SVU PGET.

M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition offered by Women's Christian College, Chennai has an every year changing cutoff with various factors such as no of applicants and their results during undergraduate. The cutoff may differ each year with the help of entrance exam and merit scored during the relevant undergraduate course. Usually, WCC conducts entrance exam for M.Sc. after which an interview will take place. Always better to log on to WCC official website or direct contact to the admission officer for latest and precise details of cutoff and the intake procedure in M.Sc. Food and Nutrition.

No, a nutritionist does not need NEET to pursue their career. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is specifically required for Medical courses like Medical0 BDS, and certain allied health sciences programs. 

To become a nutritionist, candidates can pursue a BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or similar programs, which do not require NEET. Admissions to these programs are typically based on 10+2 marks or CUET scores conducted by specific universities.

You have do done B.Sc in relevant science subject like Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biology, Biotechnology,Food Science and Nutrition, Life Science, Microbiology, or Zoology etc to be eligible for admission in M.Sc food science and Nutrition at GU.
