Indeed, the Central University of Himachal Pradesh has shown promising results in terms of placements. In the CUHP placements of 2023, a noteworthy total of 102 students from the PG (2 years) programme secured placements. Highlighting its strengths, the School of Commerce and Management Studies particularly stood out, achieving the highest placement numbers among the various departments. The university's dedication to student career prospects is evident as they managed to secure a the median package of INR 2.75 LPA during the same placements, as reported in the annual report for the academic year 2023.  

There is no such rank required now but some criteria needs to be fulfilled. Minimum CUET cutoff required to get a seat at CUHP.

50% marks (minimum) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor's/UG programs from a recognised university or an equivalent examination is the required criteria. Also, to get the admission in CUHP for MA courses, applicants have to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). CUHP admits candidates on the basis CUET-PG merit score. The university releases lists after the declaration of the results. On this basis students can register for further admission proceedings.

Soon after the declaration of the results by NTA, universities releases the required cutoff list for their college admissions.

Last year, Central University of Himachal Pradesh CUET cut off for BSC honours in physics was 327.25, for the general category, Cutoff for BFA in painting is 184.41 of general category. For Sanskrit Honours, it is 172.16.

Hence, it is highly dynamic according to different disciplines.
