Yes, Jaypee University of Information Technology follows reservation guidelines as issued by the Government of India. A certain percentage of the total seat intake of each course is reserved for various categories, such as SC/ ST/ EWS/ PWD, etc. Further, the university also reserves seats for its BTech students belonging to certain categories. JUIT Solan reservation policies for its BTech course are as follows:
- Kashmiri migrants/ Kashmiri Hindu families living in Kashmir valley as per the guidelines of MHRD
- Supernumerary seats for candidates who have the PM cares for children scheme certificate
- 10% of the seats are reserved for

Jaypee University of Information Technology provides BTech course across several specialisations. To be eligible for getting into this course, students must fulfil the admission criteria as prescribed by the university. The basic eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised board. Further, 50% of the total seats are offered based on valid JEE Main score and the remaining 50% through merit basis. Yes, Jaypee University of Information Technology provides several scholarship schemes to the eligible students. In order to avail of any of the provided schemes, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the scheme. JUIT Solan offers the following scholarships to its students:
- William Webster Merit-Cum-Means scholarship
- Sri Badrika Ashram Emerging Youth Scholarship
- 30% TFW to wards of serving & retired armed forces & PMF Personnel
