No, As per the latest data and information on the official site of Central University of Himachal Pradesh, B.Tech has be discontinued from the university , also mentioned on shiksha site , you can check that B.Tech is now not available in Central University of Himachal Pradesh. So, the only option left is Government College, Dharamshala.
Government college, Dharashala is also not that good at placements but as B.Tech is not availabe at Central University of Himachal Pradesh so, it is the only option left ,the packages range from 2.5-7 LPA for the candidates from Government college, Dharamshala .

If we look according to placement then the highest package offered during CUHP placements 2022 was INR 6.5 LPA.
The Central University of Himachal Pradesh has not released a report for the year 2023. However, as per the NIRF report 2023, during placements in the year 2022, the median package offered to PG (2 years) was INR 2.5 LPA. Further, 63 students of PG (2 years) were placed during CUHP placements in 2022. Adding on, as per the annual report for the academic year 2021-22, the School of Commerce and Management Studies recorded the highest number of students placed. The seat intale for MBA at Central University of Himachal Pradesh is 90 seats.
Eligibility criteria for MBA at CUHP is :-
MBA aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent degree with a 50% score from a university. Candidates must appear in the PG Admission Test FEAT conducted by CUHP. NRI They must have received a minimum level of 50percent on average or an equivalent grade on the previous exam. For further information, candidates must check the college's official website or can also check from the official website of Shiksha.

The Central University of Himachal Pradesh offers admission to various UG courses based on CUET UG scores according to the round-wise counselling.
merit list is realeased by the university for the candidates who qualify for the cut off
As per Central University of Himachal Pradesh cutoff 2023, closing score of round 1 for B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit is 62, for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics is 360.53, which is the highest score of all the specialisations and for Shastri it is 32 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota.

No, you can't join the Central University of Himachal Pradesh directly.

The UG courses require a 10 + 2 qualification, while for PG courses, students must have a recognised bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.the fees for PG courses at central university of himachal pradesh is 2,500 to 23,000 annually. as the fees are following for following courses:-
