The majority of private colleges and universities accept applications. Because these courses are highly competitive at government colleges, Delhi University is still an option. Some colleges on the south campus lower their cutoffs to the eighth or ninth list. Amity University, on the other hand, is one of India's best private universities. Therefore, you can also try there. The minimum requirement for the general category is a grade of "C" or better on the last four exams, including 85% in English . A general candidate should have at least 60% in four courses, including mathematics; for OBC, this number is 54%, and for SC/ST, passing marks are needed.

Those who want to pursue nursing courses after 12th commerce, arts and Science can easily opt for GNM nursing courses. The course duration is 3.5 years in which the students have to complete a 6 months internship in the last 6 months of the course. Even after finishing class 12 with Arts or Commerce streams, aspirants can pursue a rewarding profession in nursing. Auxiliary Nursing Midwife ANM and General Nursing Midwife GNM Diploma programmes are available to students who have finished their class 12 examinations with Arts and Commerce streams.

Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master's degree in a relevant/ allied subject or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Admission to M. hill programs is open to a student who holds at least a second class Master's Degree in the concerned subject with 55% or more marks. There is no age limitation on the Ph.D. Eligibility In India. Applicants of any age fulfilling the qualifications criteria can apply for Ph.D. Admissions. Candidates of any age can do the Ph.D. course in India.
