Naladha open university offers B.Sc jobs in home science, Lady Irwin college affiliated with Delhi university, IGNOU Bsc (general), are offering this course. These are recognized by UGC makes you eligible for writing any Government examination.

Home Science can be included in best four subjects % but they will deduct 2.5%. Or if you opt Bachelor of Science Honours in Home Science then only they will not deduct 2.5%. And every college have different cut off for different course.

Hi,
I would suggest you to give her the space to decide what she would want to pursue instead of forcing or suggesting her a course which she might regret taking later on. Let her decide and choose what she likes to do passionately. Nursing as a course is great but it will not fetch you a good salary. Hotel Management is the best course but it needs lots of dedication to complete. It's a really hardworking job and needs passionate employees. I suggest that after completing graduation in Home Science, she can go for courses like Bachelor's in Home Science, Bachelor's course in Fashion Designing / Textile Designing, Dietetics, Counsellin

The forms are available right now. The last date is 25th June. And the date of exam is 28th June, which is followed by a personal interview.
