To get admission to a BA in Hospitality and Travel course, you must have passed Class 12 from any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate score from a recognised board.

BA in Hospitality and Travel course is for those who foresee their career in Hospitality or Tourism industry. This course offers a variety of opportunities to work as well as travel worldwide as the Hospitality or Tourism industries are functional globally. 

You can either work for Hotels, Cruise, Restaurants, Airlines, etc., or be an entrepreneur. This course is worth pursuing for someone who has or wishes to gain communication skills, interested in hospitality, or loves traveling.

There are around 200 BA in Hospitality and Travel colleges in India, of which, 113 are private and 35 are government institutions. The average course fee starts from INR 3,150 and goes up to INR 26.4 Lakh. However, the fee structure can differ depending on college's rating, infrastrcuture, location, course duration, etc.

Students of commerce background can also pursue a BA in Hospitality & Travel course. However, universities may have different requirements for admission to BA programs in hospitality, travel, and tourism management. While many universities welcome applicants from a variety of academic backgrounds, including the business world, some may have unique requirements. You can pursue a BA in Hospitality and Travel course with any stream. These courses are designed to prepare students for their careers in the Hospitality and Travel field, hence, having any stream in your Class 12 does not make any difference.

The highest package  for BBA Honours in Aviation, Hospitality And Travel & Tourism studies at MGM institute  of hotel management  varies from year to year. It was 70,000 INR in last year  .However the placements are really good, with many international and domestic Hotels  and aviation companies  recruiting students  every year
