To pursue HM courses, there are two courses offered in Pune University four years BHMCT approved by AICTE and 3 years B.Sc Hotel Management by UGC. For four years, you have to appear for MHCETHM exams which was scheduled on 27 May 2018. Still you can take admissions in Three year course:

Other HM colleges under Deemed University Bharti Vidyapeeth Tilak University IIHM.

Diploma in F&B service from IHM Chennai cannot be done via distance learning. You need to be present in the college.

Hey, these both subjects are professional fields hotel management has many more options like manager job, travel agency, travel agent, tour operation and can be linked with many other subjects where as in B.Tech, you can be a computer engineer software engineer freelancer programmer. NCHMCT JEE rank is considered as necessary for admission to All NCHMCT affiliated IHMs in India. A few other colleges and universities also considers NCHMCT JEE rank when giving admission. but there are many other hotel management colleges having their own entrance and open admission without any JEE.
