DY Patil University can be considered the best private college for BSc in Hotel/Hospitality Management. It offers a BSc in Hotel Management course with a tuition fee of INR 4 Lakh. The median salary for graduates here is INR 5 LPA, which is a decent ROI.

The requirements are different for each course and college. For a BA or BBA course, the basic requirement is passing class 12th in any stream. The aggregate percentage required by each college is different, but the minimum range is 45% to 50%.

For an MA or MBA course, passing an undergraduate degree in a relevant course is required. The aggregate percentage necessary is also at least 45% to 50%. Some colleges take admission on the basis of entrance exams. Check eligibility criteria on the official website of the college before applying.

For the Excelia courses offered in English at both levels, Bachelor's and MSc courses, a B2 level (CEFR) is needed. All official tests like IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Duolingo and others. 

Also, for French-taught courses at Excelia, a B2 French is required.

The rank needed to get a seat at this institution would depend on the category and the round you are applying in. The CIHMCT cutoff 2026 was released for the UG-level course, ie, B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the UG-level course was 7894.
