Eligibility of the Master of Fine Arts [MFA]:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised school or board in India. The candidate must have passed Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Candidates who have passed BA (Hons.) in Fine Arts with one year Pre-MFA with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed B.A. (Hons.) in Fine Arts with one year Diploma in Applied Arts with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply too.

Earlier known as the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, theInstitute of Hotel Management (IHM), Mumbai was established in 1954 by the All India Women Central Food Council under the leadership of Late Smt Lilavati Munshi. Candidates can apply for admission at IHM-Mumbai if they have cleared their 10+2 (or its equivalent examination) with English being a compulsory subject. Apart from this, aspirants who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for admission at IHM-Mumbai. However, such an admission will be on the provisional basis.
2) Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Chennai

Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Chennai was jointly established by Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu in 1963. Established in 1972 as a Food Craft Institute, IHM-Hyderabad was established by the Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh. It was upgraded into the Institute of Hotel Management, in 1984 and in 1986 affiliated to the fold of National Council for Hotel Management, Catering Technology-New Delhi, an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Government of India, informs the official website. Since then, the entire admission process and academic calendar as well as course outline is formulated by the council.
