BHM is not an easy course in anyway. You have to be committed and professional. If you are ready to get involved physically and mentally. Then go for it. There are plenty of girls who have dropped out. But on the other hand there plenty of girls who have gone on to become General Managers even under 30 years of age.

Yes, the study gap would be a major problem. But, it must be okay, if you did something productive during the gap, eg work. You can give it a try. But, I would suggest you not to keep your hopes up. There's a high chance for visa rejection if you cannot provide proof of activities done during your gap.

There's no major difference, but select the course depending on your future intentions. For example if you are planning to go abroad and study for masters or similar program, it's always better to take the 4 year program, in some countries they don't accept 3 year program for masters. But 3 years will help you enter the job market earlier than a 4 year course. But regardless of the duration , always study at a well renowned institution.
In this case you are enquiring about IHM Delhi , which could be considered India's best hotel management institute.
